Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport freight across designated routes
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere to DOT regulations and safety protocols at all times
- Plan efficient routes to meet delivery schedules and optimize fuel consumption
- Load/unload cargo with proper handling techniques and equipment
- Communicate effectively with dispatch team and clients regarding shipment status
- Maintain detailed delivery documentation and paperwork
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in 3 years)
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in various weather conditions
- Basic math skills for load calculations and delivery documentation
- Willingness to work flexible schedules including nights and weekends
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- No CDL required – we provide full training!
