Responsibilities
- Safely operate a Class A commercial motor vehicle on designated local and regional routes.
- Load and unload freight efficiently using proper lifting techniques and equipment.
- Maintain accurate Electronic Logging Device (ELD) records and adhere to DOT regulations.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Interact professionally with customers and warehouse personnel at delivery points.
- Adhere to all company policies, safety procedures, and traffic laws.
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A license required (clean driving record).
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable Class A driving experience.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical exam.
- Strong knowledge of local Boston area roads and traffic patterns.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and time management abilities.
- Willingness to submit to a background check and drug screen.
