Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles in urban and suburban routes
- Optimize daily delivery routes for maximum efficiency
- Maintain accurate delivery records and customer communications
- Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and basic maintenance
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Collaborate with logistics team to resolve delivery exceptions
- Represent Amazon's brand through professional appearance and service
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- 2+ years of commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Strong navigation skills and familiarity with Portland area
- Excellent time management and problem-solving abilities
- Customer service-oriented with professional communication skills
- Availability to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays
