Responsibilities
- Operate Dump Trucks: Safely transport and dump materials at construction sites, quarries, and roadways.
- Maintenance Checks: Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle readiness and safety compliance.
- Load and Unload: Secure loads efficiently and unload materials as directed by site supervisors.
- Route Planning: Navigate to job sites safely and efficiently, adhering to traffic laws and company policies.
- Compliance Documentation: Maintain accurate logs, HOS records, and all necessary paperwork.
- Site Safety: Adhere to all OSHA regulations and site-specific safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License: Must possess a valid Class B CDL with appropriate endorsements.
- Experience: Proven experience driving dump trucks or heavy haul vehicles.
- Driving Record: Clean driving record with no major violations in the past 3-5 years.
- Physical Fitness: Ability to lift heavy objects and operate machinery for extended periods.
- Communication: Excellent verbal communication skills and ability to work independently.
- Tools: Ability to use hand signals and radio communication effectively.
