Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles on dedicated regional routes within 300-mile radius of Kansas City
- Adhere to strict delivery schedules while maintaining DOT compliance and safety protocols
- Complete thorough pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Handle no-touch freight operations including secure loading/unloading at client facilities
- Utilize telematics systems for real-time route optimization and communication
- Submit electronic logs and delivery documentation via company portal
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years OTR or dedicated route experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate in various weather conditions
- Strong time management skills with ability to adhere to tight delivery windows
- Proficient in electronic logging devices (ELD) and basic navigation systems
- Pass background check and drug screening per DOT regulations
- Knowledge of Kansas City metro area and surrounding states
