Responsibilities
- Operate commercial motor vehicles (CMVs) in a safe and legal manner, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure mechanical safety and compliance.
- Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring proper weight distribution and handling of freight.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date Driver's Logs (ELD), delivery receipts, and mileage records.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery times, routes, and any delays.
- Uphold a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A (or Class B with Tanker endorsement).
- Must possess a clean driving record with no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years.
- Must pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience preferred.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws and safety regulations.
