Responsibilities
- Operate commercial Class A vehicles safely and efficiently on designated routes in the Fort Worth area and surrounding regions.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
- Load and unload cargo using proper equipment, ensuring cargo is secured and protected during transit.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and delivery documentation.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies to minimize risk and ensure timely deliveries.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and any delays.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A required.
- Must possess a clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Willingness to work flexible weekend shifts (Saturday and Sunday).
- Basic mechanical aptitude for minor vehicle troubleshooting.
- Strong customer service skills and professional demeanor.
