Responsibilities
- Deliver Packages: Safely transport goods to residential and commercial addresses in the San Antonio area in a timely manner.
- Customer Interaction: Deliver friendly and professional service, ensuring customer satisfaction with every drop-off.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is clean, fueled, and in good working condition.
- Load and Unload: Securely load and unload merchandise, ensuring packages are handled with care and are accounted for.
- Route Planning: Follow assigned routes efficiently, utilizing GPS technology to minimize delays.
- Documentation: Accurately complete delivery logs, receipts, and any necessary paperwork.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License: Must possess a valid, current driver's license (Class C or higher).
- Clean Driving Record: A history of safe driving with no major violations or DUIs on record.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal communication skills and a polite demeanor when interacting with customers.
- Reliability: Demonstrated punctuality and a track record of dependable attendance.
- Availability: Must be available to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
