Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial motor vehicles (CMVs) in compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations.
- Perform thorough pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring cargo is balanced and protected from damage.
- Maintain accurate and legal electronic logging device (ELD) records of duty status.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery times and potential delays.
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and company policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Must possess a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A (or be willing to obtain one through our training program).
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Must possess a clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations within the last 3-5 years.
- Strong work ethic, time management skills, and a commitment to safety.
- Basic math skills for calculating tolls and fuel stops.
- Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screening.
