Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical safety.
- Secure cargo properly to prevent damage and ensure compliance with FMCSA regulations.
- Maintain accurate logbooks and electronic logging devices (ELD) in compliance with Hours of Service rules.
- Deliver freight to designated locations on time and handle customer interactions professionally.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the truck cab and cargo area.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience.
- Ability to pass a DOT physical examination and drug screen.
- Strong knowledge of interstate and intrastate driving regulations.
- Basic computer skills for ELD and paperwork entry.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a commitment to safety.
