Responsibilities
- Secure and load cargo safely and efficiently using straps and dunnage.
- Operate box truck in a safe and professional manner, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Maintain the cleanliness and mechanical integrity of your assigned vehicle.
- Complete all necessary delivery paperwork and electronic logging (ELD) accurately.
- Provide excellent customer service during loading and unloading processes.
- Inspect vehicle condition before and after each shift to ensure safety compliance.
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Owned or leased box truck suitable for local/regional freight.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong communication skills and a professional demeanor.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Reliable access to a smartphone for communication and app-based logistics management.
