Responsibilities
- Safely operate box trucks (24-26ft) for regional deliveries in Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana
- Maintain accurate delivery records and electronic logs (ELD compliant)
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route planning
- Ensure proper loading/unloading of freight using provided equipment
- Communicate delivery status and exceptions in real-time
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years box truck or straight truck experience
- Own or lease reliable 24-26ft box truck (2015+ model preferred)
- Current DOT medical certification
- Smartphone with reliable internet access
- Basic mechanical knowledge for minor repairs
- Strong time management and customer service skills
- Ability to pass pre-employment background/drug screen
