Responsibilities
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Load and unload freight securely using proper tie-down techniques and equipment.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging devices (ELD) and delivery documentation.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company safety policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding pickup and delivery status.
- Keep the vehicle clean and presentable at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a Box Truck or Flatbed Owner Operator.
- Proof of liability and cargo insurance (minimum $1M).
- Reliable, clean, and well-maintained box truck (or eligibility to lease/own).
- Strong customer service skills and professional demeanor.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
