Responsibilities
- Safely operate a 26ft Box Truck to deliver goods to residential and commercial destinations in the Dallas area.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
- Handle loading and unloading of cargo with care, ensuring damage-free delivery.
- Manage all necessary paperwork, including bills of lading, delivery receipts, and daily logs.
- Maintain a clean and professional appearance of the truck and cargo area.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding pickup and delivery schedules.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is preferred; Class B with proper endorsements is acceptable for box trucks.
- Current DOT Medical Card and valid DOT registration.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable driving experience in a commercial truck.
- Strong knowledge of local Dallas, TX roadways and traffic patterns.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Own a well-maintained 26ft Box Truck.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on punctuality.
