Responsibilities
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Secure cargo using straps, ropes, and blankets to prevent damage during transit.
- Deliver freight to designated locations in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional appearance at all times.
- Observe all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company safety policies.
- Interact professionally with customers, vendors, and the public at every stop.
- Handle all necessary paperwork, including delivery receipts and mileage logs.
Qualifications
- Must own a reliable 24-26ft Box Truck.
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or B (if applicable to truck size) or equivalent driving experience.
- Proof of current auto insurance and vehicle registration.
- Strong navigation skills and familiarity with the Nashville metropolitan area.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-service oriented attitude.
