Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL) to transport freight safely and efficiently.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
- Load and unload cargo using proper lifting techniques and equipment.
- Maintain accurate logs and records for all trips in compliance with DOT regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and issues.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety protocols while on the road.
Qualifications
- Clean, valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A.
- Minimum of 1 year of driving experience preferred.
- Good driving record with no major violations.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Physically capable of lifting heavy objects and sitting for extended periods.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
