Responsibilities
- Safely transport students to and from school and school-related activities in a timely and courteous manner.
- Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the bus is in safe operating condition.
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe bus environment for all passengers.
- Follow all traffic laws, school bus regulations, and safety protocols at all times.
- Assist students with boarding and exiting the bus, ensuring their safety.
- Communicate effectively with school administrators, parents, and other staff.
- Report any mechanical issues or safety concerns immediately to management.
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with Passenger (P) and School Bus (S) endorsements.
- OR be willing to obtain a CDL and complete our paid training program.
- Clean driving record with no major traffic violations or DUIs within the last 7 years.
- Ability to pass a thorough background check, drug screen, and physical examination.
- Patience, excellent communication skills, and a strong commitment to student safety.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Reliable transportation to the bus yard.
