Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks on various job sites across the Reno metropolitan area.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle and load safety.
- Load and unload materials (gravel, dirt, rock, sand) efficiently and securely.
- Maintain accurate daily logs and delivery documentation.
- Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and site supervisors.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience operating dump trucks in a construction or hauling environment.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws and road safety protocols.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions and on uneven terrain.
- Basic mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor vehicle issues.
