Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles on dedicated regional routes with predictable schedules
- Perform thorough pre/post-trip inspections and maintain electronic logs in compliance with FMCSA regulations
- Coordinate with dispatch teams to ensure on-time deliveries while maintaining optimal fuel efficiency
- Build strong client relationships through professional communication and reliable service
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and participate in ongoing training programs
- Utilize GPS technology for route optimization and real-time tracking
- Document all delivery paperwork accurately and submit reports promptly
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean MVR (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 3 years verifiable OTR experience with dedicated route background
- Ability to pass DOT physical and random drug screening requirements
- Strong knowledge of FMCSA regulations and safety standards
- Proficiency in using electronic logging devices and transportation software
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to work flexible schedules with consistent weekly home time
