Responsibilities
- Load and unload packages safely and efficiently using handtrucks or pallet jacks.
- Verify delivery addresses and obtain signatures upon completion.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues.
- Provide exceptional customer service and maintain a professional demeanor.
- Navigate delivery routes efficiently while adhering to traffic laws and schedules.
- Organize and maintain the delivery vehicle's cleanliness and inventory.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or equivalent state driver's license.
- Minimum of 1 year of driving experience in a local delivery capacity.
- Current Medical Certificate (DOT physical) if required.
- Strong knowledge of local San Jose streets and geography.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
