Responsibilities
- Operate your own box truck safely and efficiently on dedicated routes
- Maintain strict compliance with DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Manage timely deliveries with real-time GPS tracking integration
- Coordinate with dispatch team for optimal route planning and scheduling
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and maintenance documentation
- Build client relationships through professional on-time service
- Submit accurate delivery documentation and expense reports
Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL with clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years of commercial driving experience
- Reliable box truck (26-28 ft) with current registration and insurance
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform basic loading/unloading duties
- Strong knowledge of Pittsburgh metro area and surrounding regions
- Proficiency with electronic logging devices and mobile communication tools
- Excellent time management and customer service skills
