Responsibilities
- Operate box trucks safely and efficiently across Nebraska and surrounding regions
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic logging system compliance
- Inspect vehicles daily and report maintenance needs promptly
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading/unloading operations
- Optimize routes to ensure timely deliveries and maximize mileage
- Coordinate with dispatch team for real-time schedule adjustments
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B CDL with clean driving record (3+ years experience)
- Reliable box truck (24-26ft) with current registration and insurance
- Proven on-time delivery performance and route optimization skills
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards
- Excellent time management and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Smartphone proficiency for communication and route apps
- Must pass background check and drug screening
