Responsibilities
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance with DOT regulations.
- Safely load and unload freight, ensuring cargo security and proper documentation.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies to maintain a clean driving record.
- Provide exceptional customer service while delivering freight to local and regional destinations.
- Report any mechanical issues or accidents immediately to dispatch and management.
- Keep the truck and trailer clean and organized at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations within the last 3-5 years.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable Class A driving experience.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical and drug screen.
- 21 years of age or older.
- Strong communication skills and problem-solving abilities.
