Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for regional routes within California
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations, safety protocols, and delivery schedules
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance records
- Load/unload freight efficiently using appropriate equipment and techniques
- Communicate professionally with dispatch, clients, and team members
- Manage delivery documentation and ensure timely, accurate order fulfillment
- Represent our company with exceptional customer service at all client sites
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A license with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of California roadways and traffic regulations
- Basic mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting minor vehicle issues
- Flexibility to work early mornings and occasional weekends
- Excellent time management and route optimization skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
