Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks to transport freight safely and efficiently across the region.
- Load and unload cargo using proper equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks) ensuring weight distribution is correct.
- Prepare and maintain accurate daily logs (DOT/ELD) in compliance with federal regulations.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical integrity and safety.
- Provide outstanding customer service during pickups and deliveries, resolving issues professionally.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety protocols.
- Maintain a clean and professional appearance while representing the company brand.
Qualifications
- Must possess a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination and drug screening.
- Willingness to undergo our comprehensive paid training program to meet company standards.
- Strong commitment to safety and a clean driving record.
- Basic mechanical aptitude to perform minor vehicle checks.
- Must be 21 years of age or older and possess a valid US driver's license.
