Responsibilities
- Operate Box Truck: Safely and efficiently transport cargo to designated locations within the Kansas City metro area and surrounding regions.
- Load & Unload: Properly secure cargo using straps and dunnage to ensure safety and prevent damage during transit.
- Maintenance: Perform routine pre-trip and post-trip inspections to keep your vehicle in optimal condition.
- Documentation: Accurately complete all necessary paperwork, including bills of lading, delivery receipts, and daily logs.
- Customer Service: Interact professionally with customers and drivers to ensure high satisfaction levels.
- Route Planning: Plan efficient routes to minimize fuel consumption and maximize delivery windows.
Qualifications
- CDL Class B: Valid Commercial Driver’s License required.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of verifiable experience as an Owner Operator or professional driver.
- Vehicle: You must own or lease a reliable 26' Box Truck.
- Background: Clean driving record with no major violations in the last 3 years.
- Equipment: Properly registered, insured, and inspected equipment.
- Availability: Ability to start immediately (Start Tomorrow).
