Responsibilities
- Safely operate box trucks (26-28ft) for local and regional deliveries in NYC metro area
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork for each shipment
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicle equipment
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route planning and timing
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Ensure cargo security and proper handling of sensitive materials
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and NYC traffic ordinances
Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL with air brake endorsement
- Minimum 2 years box truck driving experience
