Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial Class A vehicles (tractor-trailers) in adherence to all FMCSA and company safety regulations.
- Execute pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness and compliance.
- Load and unload freight securely, ensuring cargo safety and accuracy.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, electronic logging devices (ELD), and delivery documentation.
- Provide exceptional customer service at delivery points, handling inquiries professionally.
- Perform routine maintenance checks and report mechanical issues immediately.
- Adhere to strict time schedules to ensure on-time delivery performance.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) issued by the state.
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no major violations in the last 3-5 years.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable Class A driving experience.
- Current DOT Medical Card.
- Ability to lift and handle cargo weighing up to 100 lbs occasionally.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
