Responsibilities
- Safely transport freight to designated destinations adhering to DOT regulations
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and electronic logs
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding shipment status
- Ensure timely delivery while maintaining optimal fuel efficiency
- Report maintenance issues and coordinate vehicle repairs
- Uphold company safety standards and protocols at all times
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years OTR driving experience
- Clean driving record with no major violations
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of FMCSA regulations
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
