Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks on construction sites and public roads
- Load/unload materials (dirt, gravel, asphalt) using proper equipment protocols
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and pre-trip safety checks
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Adhere to strict safety standards and DOT regulations
- Coordinate with dispatch and site supervisors for efficient routing
- Assist in basic equipment maintenance and troubleshooting
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years dump truck operation experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Basic mechanical knowledge for minor equipment repairs
- Strong commitment to workplace safety protocols
- Ability to work in various weather conditions
- Physical ability to climb equipment and handle 50+ lb materials
