Responsibilities
- Safe Vehicle Operation: Safely operate an Amazon-branded delivery van along designated routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety protocols.
- Customer Excellence: Deliver packages to customers with a friendly demeanor, ensuring a positive unboxing experience and handling any returns or exceptions professionally.
- Route Management: Efficiently manage your daily delivery schedule to ensure all stops are completed within the designated time windows.
- Package Handling: Properly handle, sort, and scan packages to ensure accuracy and prevent damage during transit.
- Professionalism: Maintain a clean and professional appearance, and ensure the delivery vehicle is kept tidy at all times.
Qualifications
- Driver’s License: Valid Class C Driver’s License required (no CDL needed for this role).
- Driving History: Clean driving record with no recent major violations.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand/walk for extended periods throughout the shift.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills and ability to read maps and navigate effectively.
- Availability: Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required by business needs.
