Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver Amazon packages to residential and commercial addresses in Durham and surrounding areas
- Optimize daily delivery routes using GPS navigation systems to maximize efficiency
- Provide exceptional customer service during package deliveries and address inquiries
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance
- Accurately scan packages and maintain delivery records using Amazon technology
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve delivery exceptions and delays
- Adhere to all traffic laws and Amazon safety protocols
- Represent Amazon brand professionally through courteous and reliable service
Qualifications
- Valid commercial driver's license (Class A or B) or ability to obtain within 30 days
- Minimum 1 year of professional driving experience with clean driving record
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout shift
- Strong time management skills and ability to meet delivery deadlines
- Proficiency with GPS navigation and mobile technology
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to work flexible hours including early mornings, evenings, and weekends
- Pass background check and drug screening as per Amazon requirements
