Responsibilities
- Pick up and deliver packages to residential and commercial locations efficiently and safely.
- Verify delivery addresses and obtain signatures upon completion of each drop-off.
- Ensure the delivery vehicle is kept clean, organized, and fueled before and after routes.
- Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and report discrepancies immediately.
- Report any vehicle maintenance needs, accidents, or delivery exceptions to the dispatch team.
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional demeanor at all times.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws and company safety policies.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record (no DUIs within the last 3 years).
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Familiarity with GPS navigation systems and smartphone apps.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must be willing to undergo a background check and drug screening.
- Previous experience in logistics or delivery is a plus but not required.
