Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods across designated routes
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate logs
- Optimize delivery routes for maximum efficiency and on-time performance
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading/unloading operations
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve delivery challenges
- Perform minor vehicle maintenance checks and report issues promptly
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A license with clean MVR
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Pass DOT physical and random drug screening
- Proficiency in using GPS navigation systems
- Ability to lift up to 60 pounds and operate loading equipment
- Strong time management and problem-solving abilities
- Flexibility to work early mornings and occasional weekends
- Knowledge of Tampa metro area and Florida highways
