Responsibilities
- Safely operate box trucks for local and regional deliveries within North Carolina
- Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation
- Coordinate with dispatch team to optimize routes and timelines
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and maintenance checks
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Manage inventory handling and secure cargo protocols
- Adhere to DOT regulations and safety standards
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean MVR
- Minimum 2 years box truck operation experience
- Proven safety record with no major violations in past 3 years
- Reliable personal box truck (24-26ft) in good condition
- Strong knowledge of Durham, NC area and regional routes
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting abilities
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs regularly
