Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles and ensure timely package delivery to customers
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures when required
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance
- Optimize delivery routes to maximize efficiency and meet performance metrics
- Handle customer inquiries professionally and resolve delivery issues promptly
- Collaborate with warehouse staff for efficient loading/unloading of packages
- Adhere strictly to Amazon's safety protocols and company policies
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record (minimum 1 year experience)
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout shift
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Basic smartphone proficiency for delivery tracking apps
- Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Previous delivery or logistics experience preferred
- Excellent customer service communication skills
