Responsibilities
- Drive Amazon delivery vans to deliver packages to customers within the Newark, NJ area.
- Load and unload packages safely and efficiently at the depot and customer locations.
- Ensure the safety and security of all cargo during transport.
- Provide excellent customer service and resolve delivery issues professionally.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and maintenance checks before and after shifts.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Use handheld devices to update delivery status and navigate routes.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) (if applicable).
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Good communication skills and a professional demeanor.
- Reliable access to a smartphone for route updates.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions.
