Responsibilities
- Safely Deliver Packages: Load, unload, and safely deliver packages to residential and commercial customers in the Albuquerque area.
- Customer Interaction: Provide friendly and professional customer service, handling package handling inquiries with care.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Perform daily vehicle inspections, report any mechanical issues, and maintain the cleanliness of the delivery vehicle.
- Route Management: Follow the most efficient route to ensure timely delivery, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Package Integrity: Ensure all packages are accounted for and undamaged upon delivery.
- Technology Usage: Utilize handheld devices for scanning, logging deliveries, and managing inventory.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License: A valid driver's license issued in the United States is required.
- Clean Driving Record: No more than 3 moving violations or accidents in the past 3 years.
- Vehicle Availability: You must have access to a reliable, insured delivery vehicle suitable for the job.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Communication Skills: Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Availability: Ability to work full-time hours, including weekends and holidays as required.
