Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles safely and legally on long-haul routes.
- Load and unload freight efficiently at designated terminals and drop yards.
- Complete all required daily logs (DOT) and delivery paperwork accurately and on time.
- Maintain the cleanliness and mechanical condition of the assigned truck and trailer.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company safety protocols, and hours-of-service regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and shippers to ensure smooth deliveries.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable OTR driving experience.
- Satisfactory Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) and ability to pass a DOT physical exam.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen.
- Strong time management skills and ability to navigate unfamiliar routes.
