Responsibilities
- Operate dump trucks safely and efficiently to transport various materials.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure equipment safety and compliance.
- Load and unload materials, ensuring proper securing and weight distribution.
- Maintain a clean driving record and adhere to all DOT regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and site managers regarding delivery schedules and traffic conditions.
- Perform routine maintenance checks and report any mechanical issues immediately.
Qualifications
- Clean Class A or B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) required.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable experience as a dump truck driver.
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws and safe driving practices.
- Physically fit and capable of lifting and loading heavy materials.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions.
