Responsibilities
- Safely transport students to/from school and field trips
- Pre-trip/post-trip vehicle inspections and maintenance reports
- Enforce student discipline protocols per district policies
- Maintain accurate attendance and route documentation
- Communicate effectively with parents, staff, and dispatch
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Assist students with mobility needs as required
Qualifications
- Valid California Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- School Bus Endorsement & Passenger Transport Certificate
- Minimum 2 years professional driving experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- TB clearance and fingerprint clearance required
- Child CPR/First Aid certification preferred
- Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
