Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial Class A trucks to deliver freight across the Western United States.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
- Secure cargo properly to prevent damage during transit.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and delivery documentation.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery times and route changes.
- Unload freight using forklifts or hand trucks when required.
- Adhere to all DOT regulations, safety protocols, and traffic laws.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A required.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable truck driving experience.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Physical).
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no DUIs or reckless driving violations.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally and work in various weather conditions.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
