Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks and heavy equipment on construction sites and haul routes
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere to DOT regulations and local traffic laws for all operations
- Load/unload materials efficiently while maintaining site cleanliness protocols
- Navigate complex job sites and deliver materials to precise locations
- Collaborate with site supervisors and dispatch teams for seamless operations
- Report mechanical issues and maintain equipment cleanliness
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial dump truck driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Strong knowledge of safety protocols and equipment operation
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Excellent time management and route optimization skills
- Must pass criminal background check and provide employment references
