Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (box trucks or straight trucks) for local deliveries within NYC
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and safety protocols at all times
- Efficiently load/unload cargo using pallet jacks and basic warehouse equipment
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic tracking systems
- Provide exceptional customer service during residential/commercial deliveries
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience
- Ability to navigate NYC streets and manage tight delivery windows
- Physical capability for lifting up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Pass mandatory background check and drug screening
- Basic knowledge of NYC traffic laws and parking regulations
- Strong time management and communication skills
