Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles on dedicated regional routes
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and Hours of Service (HOS) compliance
- Maintain accurate electronic logs and pre/post-trip inspections
- Coordinate with dispatch for efficient loading/unloading operations
- Ensure cargo security and integrity throughout transit
- Report maintenance issues and perform basic vehicle upkeep
- Represent Prime Logistics with professionalism in customer interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with minimum 3 years OTR experience
- Clean MVR (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Proficient in electronic logging systems (e.g., Qualcomm, Omnitracs)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Strong route planning and time management skills
- Experience with temperature-controlled freight preferred
