Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks to transport construction materials, soil, and debris
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and pre-trip safety checks
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Collaborate with site supervisors for efficient material unloading
- Assist with minor equipment maintenance and troubleshooting
- Support emergency response operations as needed
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years' experience operating dump trucks or heavy equipment
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks
- Strong knowledge of local Stockton/San Joaquin County routes
- DOT medical certification and required safety training
- Ability to work flexible hours including early mornings and weekends
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills preferred
