Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks and trailers safely and efficiently over designated routes.
- Perform thorough pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip vehicle inspections (DVIR) to ensure compliance.
- Load and unload cargo using proper lifting techniques and equipment.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date delivery logs, including electronic logging device (ELD) compliance.
- Ensure the timely delivery of freight while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and any issues encountered.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) required.
- Current Medical Examiner’s Certificate (MEC) or DOT physical card.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
- Willingness and ability to work weekends, nights, and holidays as required.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
