Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL) following all DOT regulations
- Transport freight across California and neighboring states
- Complete pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate logbooks
- Coordinate with dispatch and warehouse teams for efficient loading/unloading
- Ensure timely delivery of goods while maintaining safety standards
- Report mechanical issues and maintain vehicle cleanliness
- Adhere to delivery schedules and communicate proactively
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Knowledge of California highway systems and regulations
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Strong communication and time-management skills
- Flexibility for overnight trips and weekend shifts
