Responsibilities
- Operate commercial tractor-trailer units safely and efficiently across the United States.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
- Load and unload cargo securely using appropriate tie-down methods and equipment.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and delivery paperwork.
- Navigate complex routes and traffic patterns in Houston, TX, and California.
- Adhere to all safety policies and company procedures to ensure 100% on-time delivery rates.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A required.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Medical Card).
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable driving experience preferred.
- Clean driving record with no major violations within the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.
