Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Safely transport cargo from Baltimore, MD to New York and regional destinations.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and all required paperwork.
- Adhere strictly to all Department of Transportation (DOT) and company safety regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and team members.
- Protect company assets and maintain a professional image at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A (or Class B with Tanker endorsement as applicable).
- Clean driving record with no major violations in the past 3-5 years.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Ability to work weekends (Friday through Sunday) on a rotating schedule.
- Strong understanding of DOT regulations, Hours of Service (HOS), and load securement.
- Physically capable of performing job duties including lifting, bending, and climbing.
